This is me, doing what I do best (besides writing): relaxing on a tropical beach, sipping a frozen colada. I go to the Caribbean regularly to charge my spiritual batteries, connect with nature and clear my mind so I can write better. Here I am at Megan's Bay in St. Thomas USVI. It was one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever visited!
While writing my first book, I tried my hand at scuba diving in Hawaii. What an amazing experience! I had a chance to play with sea cucumbers and say hello to a giant turtle!
I've been blessed to meet the most wonderful people! Here I am chatting with the late, great Johnnie Cochran at Book Expo America some years ago. What an brilliant, elegant man! I still think of him; the world suffered a tremendous loss when he passed away.
I also had the honor of meeting Bill Clinton. I must admit, Bill was very SEXY! He smelled good too! I hear he makes women everywhere swoon. I can believe it!
Here I am in the Dominican Republic. I was doing research for one of my books and was serenaded daily by these cute guys at the hotel restaurant. Instead of writing, I found myself humming Latin tunes!
